Silent Noise Dive was an event performed at Latitude Festival and curated by Tempting Failure. temp0rary performed 2 simultaneous channels of sound in response to performance s from Kris Canavan, Yiota Demetriou, Allan Taylor, Kelly Miller, Thomas John Bacon and Ernst Fischer, using specialised mics and translating the movements of the artists with infra-red and ultra-sonic sensors. The 2 channels were sent to ‘silent disco’ style headphones to create a fully immersive experience for the audience members and aiming to enhance and amplify the performance artists’ work.

Kinect / Osceleton / Kinectar reading body data in 3 dimensions for left and right arms to manipulate stereo drone patch
Follow Action triggered drum track

Soundscaper circuit-bent emulation with Soundscaper on iPad
Live programmed elements in Pure Data
MIDI and analogue mix manipulation
Contact mics manipulated with Kaoss pad
