The first show on a Thursday where both presenters had been in the same country for a while was supposed to be full of new genres but The Wheel determined it was time to party in a very specific way and stick to the format. Regardless, this was a fizzy show with great tunes punctuated by chat of train & weather good fortune, human asteroids, unexpected close-ups, transient conversations & travel companions, dog backpacks, flammable school experiments, educational hydroscrews, overwhelming Scottish pints, sequential television, building nerdery, cringing into a corner, DJing on purpose, the liminal nature of the Lidl Plus app, Rug Doctor and Aqua Shark excitement, earning your macaroni pie, vibrating chairs in shopping centres and going so fast we broke the stream.
