Wasp Factory's newest signings up the label's ante on honest to goodness guitar slinging antics. Not your spread eagled, chugging quasi-metal riffery mind you. Oh no. Towering monuments of spiralling guitar and controlled feedback, yet with moments of utter beauty contained in the calm at the heart of the storm.
Real alternative guitar-led anthems like we had back in the day, underpinned with dirty great slabs of electronic tricknology from Jo Q, already famed within the London goth/industrial scene as poster girl for major alternative club Full Tilt @ The Electric Ballroom.
The band are honing their live skills on the London circuit, and are already headlining bills at the haunts of the soon to be famous, such as The Dublin Castle. The intensity and inegrity of the live shows have already caused onlookers to comment that it`s like having front of stage access to an early Stooges gig, had The Stooges had access to drum machines and samplers.
Keep a very close eye on this lot. We`re predicting *very* big things for them.
